১৯ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬, কলকাতা: টলিউডে পুলিশ বা কাকাবাবুর পর এবার একেবারে ভিন্ন অবতারে দেখা গেল প্রসেনজিৎ চট্টোপাধ্যায় কে। তাঁর নতুন ছবি 'ডাক্তার কাকু' গতকাল ১৮ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬ প্রেক্ষাগৃহে মুক্তি পেয়েছে।

‎ছবির অফিসিয়াল ঘোষণা ছিল DAKTAR KAKU IN CINEMAS FROM 18TH SEPTEMBER 2026। নির্মাতারা জানিয়েছিলেন Also starring Riddhi Sen and Ena Saha, Pavel's upcoming directorial will hit theatres on September 18। এটি which is set to release in theatres on September 18 এবং আগে previously scheduled to hit theatres on September 4 ছিল। প্রসেনজিৎ নিজেও জানান,
‎ “Money is valuable... life is priceless... let the date be postponed (from 4th September to 18th September).. but let the times change.... Daktar Kaku is coming,”

‎গল্প আছে, প্রযোজনা সংস্থার বিবরণ অনুযায়ী Prosenjit Chatterjee is set to headline Daktarkaku, an emotional human drama that explores duty, relationships and conscience against the backdrop of the medical profession।

‎মূল কাস্টে আছেন Ena Saha, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Riddhi Sen, Rajatabha Dutta এবং Daktar Kaku also stars Riddhi Sen, Pavel and Ena Saha in key roles।

‎চরিত্র পরিচয়ে জানা যায়, Prosenjit plays the titular role in Daktar Kaku, who is described as a left-leaning literature enthusiast who names his son (played by Riddhi) after the celebrated Russian poet and novelist Alexander Pushkin। ছেলে পুষ্কিনের চরিত্রে ঋদ্ধি সেন।

‎অন্যদিকে Pavel portrays Pocha, whose real name is Karna এবং The film follows Pocha's journey from fish seller to doctor, inspired by Daktar Kaku's unwavering faith in him।
